The upcoming Champions League Final is about so much more than just those 90 minutes at the Puskás Aréna! Budapest is transforming into a massive, four-day football festival, and the main stage is set at one of the city’s most breathtaking locations: Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere) in the heart of the green Zugló district.
Whether you have a ticket to the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Arsenal final or you just want to soak up the electric atmosphere of the biggest event in club football, the UEFA Champions Festival is the place to be. Entry is completely FREE, and the excitement kicks off days before the big match!
Here is what is waiting for you in the heart of Budapest:
1. Meet Football Legends (The Ultimate Champions Match)
One of the biggest highlights of the festival takes place on a purpose-built mini-pitch right on Heroes’ Square. The Ultimate Champions Match will feature Champions League icons, former Ballon d'Or winners, and world-class legends lacing up their boots once again for a spectacular gala match. This is your chance to see your childhood heroes up close!
2. Take a Photo with the Real UCL Trophy
Have you always dreamed of standing next to the iconic "Ol' Big Ears"? Now is your chance! The official UEFA Champions League trophy will be on display at the festival site. Get your camera ready, because this is the ultimate fan photo you cannot afford to miss.
3. Live Concerts and DJs
Music and entertainment will take center stage at the massive main arena built on Heroes’ Square. Local and international artists, alongside renowned DJs, will ensure the pre-match vibes are hitting the roof every single afternoon.
4. Fan Games and Giveaways
UEFA's official sponsors are setting up interactive pavilions all around the edge of the City Park. You can test your skills in freestyle juggling competitions, power-shot challenges, precision shooting, and go head-to-head with other fans in virtual football gaming stations. The best players will walk away with official UEFA merchandise!
5. Food Truck Village in the City Park
With so much to see and do, you won't go hungry or thirsty. A massive food truck area will be waiting for fans right next to the festival, serving ice-cold Hungarian beers, soft drinks, international street food, and traditional local delicacies like lángos (fried dough) and kürtőskalács (chimney cake).
